WAYFINDING CHANGES
We are pleased to announce practical improvements to the internal roads at our Bridge Street / Langmeil Road site to support a safer, smoother flow of traffic.
These changes will take effect from today, Thursday the 30th of April 2026. A map has been attached for your convenience. Please review the changes before your next visit. Updated signage will be in place to support the new traffic flow.
What is changing:
Internal road directions are changing: 29 Langmeil Road will become entry only, and 35 Langmeil Road will become exit only. This change will improve visibility for exiting vehicles and help keep pedestrians and other road users safe. Please note: No changes have been made to our Bridge Street gates.
Car park access directions are being updated: An additional car park has been added for all stakeholders of Lutheran Homes Barossa. Please follow the updated traffic flow when entering and exiting this car park.
Numbering of main entrances: The three main entrances have been numbered to provide clearer directions for deliveries and to support faster identification by emergency services. Further information will be provided to residents of the Tanunda Retirement Living units, including the gate number for their unit.
We remind everyone that the internal road speed limit remains at 10 km/h. These internal roads are shared by vehicles and pedestrians, so please drive slowly and stay alert at all times, especially while we all adapt to the new flow of traffic. We also ask you to remain vigilant along Langmeil Road particularly for other drivers who may be unfamiliar with the updated traffic flow and remember that pedestrians have right of way.
VISITING HOURS
Monday to Friday: 10:00am to 7:00pm
Weekends and Public Holidays: 10:00am to 6:00pm
All individuals entering Tanunda Lutheran Home will be required to sign in and out for the visit.
Please remember if you are generally feeling unwell, for the safety of our residents we strongly recommend that you reschedule your visit and stay home.
