What our Logo means

Our logo, which compliments the Home's philosophy, shows the Cross of Christ is central to our life and work at Tanunda Lutheran Home. His unselfish love for us led Him to pay the supreme sacrifice. In Him we have the sure hope of eternal life.

As we lift up our hands in prayer to Jesus, He empowers us to care for each other. In love, residents reach out to care for other residents and staff. Likewise, the hands of staff reach out to resident and other staff members with loving care.

Christ said that He is the vine and we are the branches. As we are united to Him, we produce fruits of the Spirit: love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, humility, and self control. (Galations 5:22) It is a privilege to be a member of God's Family.

The Southern Cross identifies our location in the Southern Hemisphere and our association and unity with the Southern Cross on the Lutheran Church of Australia logo.
